Rajanala Yella Reddy Rejoins TLH as Partner

Rajanala Yella Reddy has rejoined TLH, Advocates & Solicitors as a Partner, returning to a firm where he previously spent five years. He will be based at the firm’s Vijayawada and Amaravati office.

Reddy brings over two decades of experience spanning Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Real Estate, Employment and Labour Law, and General Corporate Advisory. His return marks a significant addition to TLH‘s presence in Andhra Pradesh.

Education Background and Career Progression

Education

Reddy is a graduate of Jagarlamudi Chandramouli College of Law, Guntur, affiliated with Acharya Nagarjuna University. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution from ICADR, in collaboration with NALSAR University.

Career Journey

Reddy began his association with Tatva Legal (now TLH, Advocates & Solicitors), where he worked for five years. He subsequently joined IndusLaw (now CMS IndusLaw) before founding Yella Legal, Advocates in 2018.

Over his career, Reddy has appeared before the High Courts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the Debt Recovery Tribunal, the NCLT, the CESTAT, the VAT Appellate Tribunal, Consumer Courts, and civil and criminal courts. His practice has covered constitutional, commercial, contractual, arbitration, revenue, debt recovery, and intellectual property matters.

He has served as Standing Counsel for Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University before the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and currently represents the University Grants Commission. He is also empanelled with NBCC (India) Limited, Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited, and KIOCL Limited before the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.

What the Firm Said

Reddy commented on his return: “It is a privilege to return to TLH as the firm enters a defining phase of its growth. Its emergence as a nationally recognised practice, anchored in Hyderabad, allows us to bring depth and continuity to clients across Andhra Pradesh and the Amaravati region. I look forward to building on that platform.”

Strategic Significance

Reddy‘s return strengthens TLH, Advocates & Solicitors‘ litigation and dispute resolution capabilities across Andhra Pradesh, with particular relevance to the developing Amaravati region. His institutional relationships — including standing counsel mandates and empanelments with public sector entities — add immediate depth to the firm’s client portfolio at a key stage of its national growth.
