Career Journey
Shamlal began his legal career at Amarchand Mangaldas, New Delhi, where he trained and practised in the corporate department. He subsequently moved into litigation, working out of the chambers of a senior advocate in Delhi, where he appeared before the High Court, District Courts, and various tribunals in New Delhi.
In 2012, Shamlal took on the leadership of the New Delhi offices of GameChanger Law Advisors, a role he held for nearly a decade. There, he advised clients across sports, media, entertainment, and technology, alongside a focused venture capital and M&A practice.
In 2021, Shamlal joined Zeta as Head of Legal, where he established and scaled legal functions across Zeta, Titan, and Radix. His in-house tenure gave him hands-on experience structuring legal operations for fast-growing technology businesses.
