Significance and Impact

The proceeds of the QIP will be utilised for funding Phase III expansion of the company’s Kadapa facility and setting up a new manufacturing plant in Greater Noida, among other things. These investments signal a clear strategic intent to deepen domestic manufacturing capacity across two geographically distinct sites.

Aditya Infotech shares hit the 5% upper circuit at ₹3,826 on 23 September following the launch of the QIP, reflecting robust institutional appetite for the placement. At the close on 22 September 2026, the company’s market capitalisation stood above ₹43,000 crore.

The transaction also underscores the continued prominence of Khaitan & Co‘s capital markets practice in large-ticket QIPs, with partners Gautham Srinivas and Sathvik Ponnappa having led prior QIP mandates for the firm. Hogan Lovells Cadwalader‘s role as international counsel to the lead managers is consistent with the firm’s established presence advising book-running managers on Indian equity capital markets transactions.

Khaitan & Co provided comprehensive Indian legal counsel to both the issuer and the lead managers, while Hogan Lovells Cadwalader served as international counsel to the lead managers.
