Kaushal Parsekar Joins King Stubb & Kasiva as Partner in Mumbai Litigation Practice

Kaushal Parsekar has joined King Stubb & Kasiva as a Partner in its Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, based in Mumbai. The appointment adds a seasoned litigator with over a decade of experience advising corporates, high-net-worth individuals, and regulatory bodies to the firm’s growing national team.

Parsekar joins KSK from Desai Desai Carrimjee & Mulla, where he was associated for the past four years. His move comes weeks after King Stubb & Kasiva brought in Pradyun Chakravarty as Partner and Head of Capital Markets, along with a 16-member team, signalling an active phase of lateral expansion for the firm.

Education Background and Career Progression

Education

Kaushal Parsekar is a 2014 graduate of KC Law College.

Career Journey

Parsekar built his litigation practice over more than a decade, developing expertise across a broad range of commercial disputes. His practice spans commercial suits involving declaration, specific performance, confidentiality, and non-solicitation; writ petitions and appeals; guardianship petitions; and domestic arbitrations from the pre-arbitration stage through to enforcement and execution of arbitral awards. He has also represented government regulatory authorities, including the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), in securities law litigation. Most recently, he spent four years at Desai Desai Carrimjee & Mulla before making the move to KSK. He is also a member of the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration.

What the Firm Said

Commenting on the appointment, Jidesh Kumar, Managing Partner and Founder of King Stubb & Kasiva, said:

> “King Stubb & Kasiva has been on a rapid growth trajectory, expanding our national footprint and deepening our capabilities across practice areas to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Kaushal’s induction into our Litigation team in Mumbai is very much a part of that journey. His depth of experience across commercial litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters, combined with his track record of advising marquee corporates and institutions, makes him a strong addition to the firm at an important stage of our growth. As we continue to scale, partners like Kaushal are central to our ability to deliver the calibre of advocacy and strategic counsel our clients expect. We are delighted to welcome him to the KSK family.”

Speaking on his move, Parsekar said:

> “I am excited to join King Stubb & Kasiva at a time of significant growth for the firm. KSK has built an excellent reputation for providing practical, business-oriented legal solutions, and I look forward to contributing to the continued expansion of its Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Together with the talented team, I hope to deliver exceptional value to clients while further strengthening the firm’s presence in Mumbai and across India.”

Strategic Significance

Parsekar’s appointment reinforces King Stubb & Kasiva’s litigation bench in Mumbai at a time when the firm is visibly scaling its national footprint. His experience in SEBI-related securities litigation and domestic arbitration adds regulatory depth to the practice, complementing the firm’s broader push to strengthen dispute resolution capabilities alongside its recent capital markets expansion.
