Singapore-headquartered agritech startup Rize has closed a $31M Series B round led by BNP Paribas Asset Management Alts to expand its low-emission rice farming platform across Southeast Asia. The round comprises $20M in equity and $11M in debt, bringing the company's total funding to $47M.

PhysicsWallah has paid ₹71.81 crore to raise its stake in UPSC coaching platform Sarrthi IAS from 40% to 51%, making it a subsidiary. The deal, the second tranche of a multi-year acquisition agreement, was announced on 16 July 2026.

Bengaluru-based specialty chemicals startup Scimplify is set to raise ₹181 crore in a Series C round led by Hitachi Ventures, marking a valuation jump of over 2X from its previous round. Mumbai-based Naturis Cosmetics has closed a ₹100 crore maiden institutional growth round led by Sharrp Ventures, with participation from Mirabilis Investment Trust, Anicut Capital, Niveshaay, and angel investors. The capital will fund a new 225,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Vapi, a Mumbai R&D centre, and category expansion across India's fast-growing beauty and personal care sector.

Noida-based pod hotel startup NapTapGo has raised ₹8 crore in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The company will use the capital to expand its capsule-stay network across India through a co-investment model with local partners.

Ahmedabad-based precision liquid cooling startup KuhlTherm has raised $1.1 million in a seed round led by Arkam Ventures. The capital will accelerate product development, R&D, and team expansion as the company scales its cooling solutions for AI data centres and high-performance computing infrastructure.

Bengaluru-based foundational protein design startup Mandrake Bio has raised ₹16 crore in a pre-seed round co-led by Activate and Antler, as publicly reported on 2026-07-16. The capital will advance its AI-driven platform for designing programmable gene-editing enzymes for agriculture and healthcare applications.

Bengaluru- and San Francisco-based AI hardware startup Aina has raised $5.5 million in a seed round co-led by Redstart Labs (Info Edge) and 360 ONE Asset to develop a general-purpose, context-aware interface for the age of AI — going beyond touchscreens and keyboards. The round drew participation from institutional investors and a high-profile roster of angel investors from India's startup ecosystem.
