Solenco Infra Private Limited, a prominent player in the solar power development sector, has finalized the sale of its project company to BluPine Energy, marking a significant move in the renewable energy landscape.
The transaction, valued for the establishment of a 165MWac solar energy generation park, underscores Solenco Infra’s strategic focus on expanding its renewable energy portfolio.
SageCounsel, provided legal counsel to Solenco Infra throughout the transaction process. Led by Akshay Nagpal, Founder of SageCounsel, the firm oversaw the drafting of various agreements, negotiations, and the finalization of the deal.
On the other side of the transaction, BluPine Energy was represented by Trilegal, a leading law firm renowned for its expertise in corporate transactions and renewable energy projects. Vishal Sagar, Partner at Trilegal, led the legal team supporting BluPine Energy in this acquisition.
BluPine Energy, a subsidiary backed by Actis, a global leader in sustainable infrastructure investments, continues to strengthen its presence in India’s renewable energy sector. The acquisition of Solenco Infra’s project company aligns with BluPine Energy’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy portfolio and contributing to India’s energy transition goals.
As part of the transaction, Solenco Infra will also provide crucial infrastructure services to the project company, including engineering, procurement, and construction services, ensuring continuity and expertise in the development of the solar park.
