Strategic Significance
Largest AI data center commitment by an Indian IT major: A combined ₹18,000 crore investment represents a transformative push into AI and cloud infrastructure.
AI compute capacity at scale: Planned 1.2 GW capacity is on par with global hyperscale data center standards.
Private equity confidence: TPG’s ₹9,000 crore investment signals strong international conviction in India’s AI data infrastructure roadmap.
Enterprise and sovereign AI focus: HyperVault will support large-scale model training, real-time AI inference, and sector-agnostic AI transformation.
This investment significantly elevates India’s data center landscape at a time when global demand for AI compute is surging. For TCS, HyperVault marks a move toward becoming a backbone for enterprise AI, cloud-native systems, and digital public infrastructure.
