S&R Associates Advises Tata Communications on INR 4.58 Billion Digital Services Sale

S&R Associates represented Tata Communications Limited, a listed telecommunications company, in the INR 4.58 billion sale of an identified digital services business to its wholly-owned subsidiary Novamesh Limited, an information technology-enabled and related services provider

The S&R team was led by partners Rajat Sethi and Dhruv Nath and counsel Prateek Sharma, and included associates Varun Yadav, Chirali Jain, Anoushka Borker, Pulatsya Pandey and Shashankaa Tewari on corporate matters.

Tata Communications Limited (previously known as Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited) is an Indian telecommunications company. Before its acquisition by Tata Group it was a government-owned telecommunications service provider and under the ownership of Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, and the Government of India. It was then sold to Tata Group in 2008 under the first Manmohan Singh ministry government.
