SAM advised to Eurogroup Laminations S.P.A. for its acquisition of a 40% stake in Kumar Precision Stampings Private Limited

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) assisted Eurogroup Laminations S.P.A. in finalizing the definitive documents for its acquisition of a 40% stake in Kumar Precision Stampings Private Limited.

Kumar Precision is a prominent local player specializing in the production and distribution of stators and rotors for electric motors, serving various industrial and domestic needs.

This strategic acquisition is a key milestone for EGLA, enabling it to strengthen its global industrial business unit and enter the rapidly growing Indian market. This move opens up new opportunities and marks EGLA’s entry into the expanding transformers business.

The transaction team included Abhishek Guha (Partner), Tanya Uppal (Partner), Kajal Advani (Senior Associate), and Reeya Benedict (Senior Associate).
