NDA Allies Stake Their Claims in Modi 3.0 – From Cabinet Berths to LS Speaker

  2. JD(U)’s Requests: Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) has sought 3 Cabinet berths to assert its presence and influence within the new government setup.
  3. Shiv Sena’s Stand: Despite previous political rifts, Shiv Sena has expressed support for Prime Minister Modi while putting forth its demand for 1 Cabinet and 2 MoS posts to reflect its contributions and significance as a crucial ally.
  4. NCP’s Anticipations: The NCP, represented by the Ajit Pawar faction, is anticipating an MoS berth in the Union cabinet, highlighting its expectations despite winning a single seat.
  5. JD(S)’s Interests: The BJP’s Karnataka ally, JD(S), led by HD Kumaraswamy, is vying for the Agriculture portfolio in the new government, aiming to secure a role in shaping policies in this crucial sector.
