Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advises Mizuho Leasing Company on its follow-on acquisition of a controlling stake in Rent Alpha, a key player in the non-banking financial sector.
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as the legal counsel for Mizuho Leasing Company, Limited in its acquisition of an additional stake in Rent Alpha Private Limited from Bravia Rent Alpha Holdings Limited. Mizuho Leasing had previously acquired a controlling interest in Rent Alpha last year, and this follow-on acquisition further solidifies its position in the company. Rent Alpha Private Limited serves as the holding company for Capsave Finance Private Limited, a non-banking financial company.
The transaction documents were signed on 8th August 2024 and the deal successfully closed on 29th August 2024.
