Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas provided legal counsel to a prominent Middle Eastern sovereign fund regarding its planned USD 750 million investment through a structured debt instrument in the promoter entity of GMR Group, which holds key infrastructure assets.
The deal was led by Ravindra Bandhakavi, Sangita John, and Amarta Roy, supported by team members Poornima Singh, Nandita Menon, Mincy Mathew, and Samiya Zehra.
Corporate due diligence was managed by Amarta Roy with support from Mincy Mathew, Aishwarya M. Dixit, and Aeruva Akash. Project diligence and related aspects were handled by Surya Sreenivasan, with assistance from Anand Deshpande, Medha Rao, Kabir Manchanda, Hrishikesh Jaiswal, Saakshi Tibrewal, Sachika Thakur, and Nityanta Sarvepalli.
