Nishith Desai Associates and AZB & Partners led on Medi Assist’s Acquisition of Paramount Health Services
Medi Assist Healthcare Services Limited has finalized an agreement to acquire Paramount Health Services & Insurance TPA for ₹311.18 crore. Fairfax Asia and Nayan Shah & family are the sellers in this transaction.
Nishith Desai Associates served as the legal advisor to Medi Assist, with the transaction team including Nishchal Joshipura (Co-lead, Private Equity and M&A), Harshita Srivastava (Co-lead, Private Equity and M&A), Khyati Dalal (Leader, Private Equity and M&A), and Anirudh Arjun (Senior Member, Private Equity and M&A).
AZB & Partners provided legal representation to Fairfax Asia and the Shah family, overseeing their interests in the deal.
