Linklaters Led on Bharti Global’s Acquisition of BT Group Stake from Altice Group UK

Bharti Global has successfully acquired a 24.5% stake in BT Group, with the investment arm of Bharti Enterprises purchasing this share from Altice Group UK. Linklaters provided comprehensive legal support to its long-time client, Bharti Global, throughout this acquisition process.

The deal team was spearheaded by Partners Sushil Jacob and Namrata Shah, along with Managing Associate Mackenzie Hewett. Amit Singh, the Head of the India Practice, played a key role in coordinating various elements of the transaction.

Supporting this acquisition, Linklaters’ antitrust and foreign investment team, led by Natura Gracia and Mark Daniel, provided crucial assistance.
