Khaitan & Co advised Premji Invest on its Series B round funding in Dezerv, including both primary investment and secondary purchase of securities
The team comprised Sanjay Khan Nagra, Vivek Bangalore Niranjan, Shivam Anand, and Divya Rau, with additional support from Smita Jha (Fintech) and Vivek Mimani (Wealthtech).
Dezerv, established in 2021 by Sahil Contractor, Sandeep Jethwani, and Vaibhav Porwal, asserts control of more than ₹7,000 crore in assets distributed among proprietary equities, fixed income, and alternative investment strategies. The company targets India’s affluent individuals and HNIs, aiming to assist them in generating wealth.
It stated on Tuesday that the new funds will enhance its technology platform and enable the hiring of investment experts for its upcoming growth stage. The company did not reveal its current valuation.
