Kapil Chaudhary, who has more than 23 years of experience, has assumed the position of executive vice president and general counsel at Info Edge, India’s foremost online classifieds company.
“As the general counsel for Info Edge, my vision goes beyond just ensuring legal compliance. I aim to be a genuine business partner and position the legal team as an exemplary group that works closely with all departments and business units to achieve our shared objectives,” Chaudhary said.
“I recognize that legal excellence is essential for business growth, and I am committed to developing a nimble, agile, and dynamic legal team that contributes to our ongoing success.”
Chaudhary has extensive experience in legal leadership, strategy, and data privacy, having served as general counsel for top-tier US-based global conglomerates in fast-paced environments.
Reflecting on his previous role, Chaudhary said, “I am thankful for my impactful tenure at Flutter International/Junglee Games, where I established the legal function from scratch and addressed various legal, regulatory, taxation, and policy challenges in the Indian online gaming industry.”

Chaudhary has been part of the leadership team for India and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation at Autodesk and has served on Twitter’s international legal team. He has also held positions at IBM, Schlumberger Asia Services, Star News, and Fox Mandal Solicitors & Advocates.
Chaudhary is highly knowledgeable about industry regulations and legislation, and he is proficient in emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, privacy, and data security.
