JSA advised Aditya Birla Renewable Energy Limited, a subsidiary of the Aditya Birla Group specializing in renewable energy, in finalizing project contracts with Suzlon, a prominent provider of renewable energy solutions in India.
These agreements are aimed at developing 551.25 MW wind power projects across two key locations: Barmer district in Rajasthan and Bhuj district in Gujarat.
Under the terms of the contracts, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines and oversee the entire project execution, including erection and commissioning, in Rajasthan. In Gujarat, Suzlon will manage the supply and supervise the commissioning process. Post-commissioning, Suzlon will also be responsible for comprehensive operations and maintenance services at both project sites.
The transaction was facilitated by J. Sagar Associates (JSA), with Partner Megha Arora and Associate Abhishek Rohatgi leading the legal team. JSA provided critical support in negotiating and finalizing these agreements between Aditya Birla Renewable Energy and Suzlon.
