Dhruv Rathee Accuses BJP Leader Suresh Nakhua of Concealing Facts and Using Abusive Language in Defamation Case

Dhruv Rathee Claims BJP Leader Suresh Nakhua Has a History of Abusive Language and Misled the Court

YouTuber Dhruv Rathee has alleged in a Delhi court that BJP leader Suresh Nakhua, who has filed a defamation lawsuit against him, has a history of using abusive language against public figures and is attempting to deceive the court to gain a favorable ruling.

Nakhua’s defamation suit targets Rathee’s video titled “My Reply to Godi Youtubers | Elvish Yadav | Dhruv Rathee.” In his court reply, Rathee, represented by Advocate Nakul Gandhi, claimed that Nakhua has a history of using foul language towards individuals including Sonia Gandhi, Barkha Dutt, and Suhel Seth, which he allegedly omitted from the court’s view.

Rathee’s response further accused Nakhua of intentionally withholding crucial visual evidence from the video to mislead the court and secure an ex-parte injunction. The YouTuber argued that Nakhua’s failure to disclose the full context of the video and his history of abusive behavior undermines the validity of his defamation claim.

Nakhua’s post, cited by Rathee, included derogatory language and offensive remarks aimed at others, exemplifying the kind of abusive language Rathee claims was used against him. The court is scheduled to hear the interim injunction plea to restrain Rathee from making further posts on August 27.
