Prof Avinash Dadhich’s Background
Prof Dadhich completed his LL.B. at Delhi University and pursued further studies with full scholarships, earning his Ph.D. from the UK and LL.M. from France. His expertise spans the regulation of AI, data privacy, and competition law. He has also held prestigious positions as a visiting research fellow at the Max Planck Institute of IP and Competition in Munich, the Institute of European Studies in Brussels, and King’s College London.
In addition to his academic roles, Prof Dadhich has practiced law in the Supreme Court of India and consulted for prominent organizations such as Deloitte, EY, Gide Loyrette Nouel in Paris, White & Case in Brussels, and the Competition Commission of India.

Institutional Evolution
Dhirubhai Ambani University, formerly known as Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), was established by an Act of the Gujarat legislature in 2003. The Act facilitated its evolution into a multi-disciplinary education and research institution, marking a significant expansion of its academic offerings.
