Delhi High Court to Decide on Chargesheet Cognizance in Coaching Centre Drowning Case on November 14
NEW DELHI: A Delhi High court is set to determine on November 14 whether to take cognizance of the chargesheet related to the tragic drowning incident at a coaching centre in the capital.
Principal District and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna reserved the decision after hearing arguments from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) counsel, who urged the court to acknowledge the chargesheet.
The incident, which occurred on July 27 during heavy rains, resulted in the deaths of civil services aspirants Shreya Yadav (25) from Uttar Pradesh, Tanya Soni (25) from Telangana, and Nevin Delvin (24) from Kerala, who drowned in the flooded basement of the institute located in Old Rajinder Nagar.
