On October 2, Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and fellow Supreme Court judges commemorated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, two iconic figures in India’s struggle for independence.
In a solemn ceremony at the Supreme Court, the CJI and other judges offered garlands at a statue of Gandhi and a portrait of Shastri, paying homage to their legacies.
