Revamping Legal Education: A New Era for NLSIU with Enhanced Facilities and Recognition
Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud recently inaugurated the foundation stone for the Rajiv K Luthra Academic Wing at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) in Bengaluru. The project, funded by the Rajiv K Luthra Foundation, aims to enhance the academic infrastructure by redesigning existing classrooms and seminar rooms, as well as constructing new facilities.
The foundation-laying ceremony took place on September 22 and was attended by notable dignitaries, including Attorney General of India R. Venkataramani, Bar Council of India Chairman Manan Mishra, Chief Trustee of the Rajiv K Luthra Foundation Gayatri Luthra, and Managing Partners from Luthra and Luthra Law Offices, Harry Chawla and Amit Luthra. The foundation honors the legacy of the late Rajiv K Luthra.
In addition to the redevelopment, the foundation has committed to awarding two annual gold medals to outstanding students and establishing a lecture series in Rajiv K Luthra’s honor for the next five years.
