Brookfield Expands NCR Property Portfolio: secures a 51 percent stake in four commercial properties of Bharti Enterprises

Brookfield Acquires Major Stake in Bharti Enterprises’ Commercial Properties

Global investment firm Brookfield Asset Management has secured a 51 percent stake in four commercial properties of Bharti Enterprises, including Worldmark Aerocity in Delhi, Worldmark 65 and Airtel Center in Gurgaon, and Pavillion Mall in Ludhiana. The acquisition involved a preferential issuance of units of Brookfield REIT.

Legal Advisors and Transaction Details

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas provided legal counsel to Bharti group entities, with a team led by Akila Agrawal, Partner & Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, and Mukul Sharma, Partner. The team included support from Principal Associates Neham Tayal and Rudraksh Durrani, Senior Associate Shreya Teewari, and Associates Aparajita Marwah and Devarshi Mohan.
