Dutch Firm Barentz Expands Its Global Reach with Acquisition of Anshul Life Sciences; Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co and AZB & Partners Advise on the Deal
Dutch specialty ingredients provider Barentz has acquired Anshul Life Sciences, enhancing its life science distribution capabilities in India. The financial details of the deal remain undisclosed.
Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co provided legal counsel to Barentz, with a team including Partners Roopal Kulsrestha, Neelam Pathak, and Meghna Nachappa, as well as Associates Aparna R, Sandra Anil Varkey, Pranav Bajaj, and Sidharth Chamarthy.
Conversely, AZB & Partners represented Anshul Life Sciences and its promoters, with Senior Partner Vaidhyanadhan Iyer, Partner Sneha Nagvekar, and Associates Deepti Narayanan, Priyasha Goyal, Jay Singhee, and Meghna Somani forming the advisory team.
