Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas served as the Indian legal counsel for CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited in its acquisition of the Radio Frequency (RF) front-end and RapidIO components business from Renesas Electronics America Inc. and other affiliates of Renesas Electronics Corporation.
The deal involved conducting thorough legal due diligence on the target assets, as well as reviewing and negotiating the asset purchase agreement and related transaction documents. The transaction was formally signed on October 4, 2024.
The transaction team was led by Ramanuj Kumar and Ravi Shah, with assistance from Neeti Amin. The due diligence process was also overseen by Ramanuj Kumar and Ravi Shah, supported by Avani Dalal and Neeti Amin. Swati Sharma, with the assistance of Gitika Suri and Sandeep Pandey, provided counsel on intellectual property matters related to the transaction.
