Anuj Pethia has joined JSA as a Partner in the Capital Markets practice.
A graduate of the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, in 2008, he earned his LLM from Columbia Law School in 2013.
Pethia brings more than 16 years of extensive experience in both domestic and international capital markets transactions. He has advised companies, investment banks, promoters, and investors across various sectors on numerous public offerings, including notable IPOs for Ola Electric Mobility, RR Kabel, Rainbow Children Hospital, and SBI Cards. Additionally, he has been involved in various qualified institutional placements, further public offerings, rights issues, and preferential issues for leading listed companies.
His expertise extends to cross-border listings, GDR programs, and he has contributed to the SEBI expert committee’s report on direct foreign listings. Pethia has also represented brokers and sellers in multiple bulk and block trades, as well as offers for sale on stock exchanges. His practice includes debt capital markets, where he has advised on issuances of sustainability-linked bonds, high-yield bonds, FCCBs, MTNs, and NCD issuances.
Previously, Pethia worked with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and the former Amarchand Mangaldas in their Mumbai and Delhi offices. On his arrival, Amit Kapur and Vivek Chandy, Joint Managing Partners of JSA Advocates & Solicitors, commented on the significance of his expertise.
