Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed his commitment to achieving ambitious goals in his third term, aiming to transform India into a developed nation, and highlighted the country’s vast potential as a land of opportunities.
Addressing a large gathering of Indian Americans in New York, Modi remarked, “After navigating this extensive election process, something remarkable took place in India. What happened was… ‘Abkibaar Modi Sarkaar.’”
“For the first time in 60 years, the people of India have delivered a mandate of great significance. In my third term, I have set highly ambitious targets, and we must press forward with three times the effort,” he stated.
Modi emphasized his lifelong dedication to good governance and India’s prosperity. Reflecting on his political journey, he acknowledged that he never aspired to be a chief minister or prime minister but was drawn into politics by fate. He noted that over the past decade, people have witnessed his model of governance, which has earned him their trust and led to his re-election for a third term.
