KhaitanCo. provided legal counsel to Vedanta Resources Finance II for the issuance of senior guaranteed bonds valued at USD 900 million under the US Securities Act of 1933.
These bonds are backed by guarantees from Vedanta Resources Limited, Twin Star Holdings Limited, and Welter Trading Limited, and will be listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. This is Vedanta’s first US dollar bond issuance since 2021.
The legal team was led by Manisha Shroff, Rajshekhar Upadhyaya, Chirag Gohil, Nikunj Mehta, Ananya Bharadwaja, Jhanvi Shah, and Shubha Ojha, with additional support from Moin Ladha on SEBI disclosures and the Takeover Code, and Ritu Shaktawat on Direct Tax matters.
