Investment to Support Solar-Hybrid Energy Projects Across India with Trilegal Advising Continuum Green Energy and Khaitan & Co and Cleary Gottlieb Steering the Deal for Just Climate
Continuum Green Energy has secured a substantial investment of ₹12.56 billion (approximately $150 million) from Climate Asset Fund I, a division of Just Climate, aimed at advancing solar-hybrid energy generation and storage projects throughout India.
Trilegal provided comprehensive advisory services to Continuum Green Energy and its founders, Arvind Bansal and Vikash Saraf. The deal was spearheaded by Corporate Partners Amit Khansaheb and Rahul Chugh, with support from Senior Associates Sidharth Dhody, Kriti Chatrath, and Siddhant Maheshwari, along with Associates Philip Ashok Alex and Navya Bhayana.
The Due Diligence efforts were led by Partners Amit Khansaheb and Vishruta Kaul, assisted by Senior Associates Manu Gupta and Bhavya Vatsa, and Associates Advaye Sawhny, Neha Koppu, Riya Thawani, and Maitreyi Singh.
The Competition Law team, guided by Partner Rudresh Singh, included Counsel Divye Sharma, Senior Associate Vrinda Nagpal, and Associate Shaurya Kashyap.
The Projects team was overseen by Partner Nayantara Nag, with support from Counsel Astha Srivastava and Senior Associates Shouri Bhat, Annapoorani Ramu, and Samykya Mukku, as well as Associates Rishabh Prasad, Ankita Agarwala, and Tanusmita Ghosal.
