Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as legal counsel to Stanley Lifestyles Limited for their ₹5,370.24 million initial public offering (IPO)
The IPO consisted of 14,553,508 equity shares, comprising a fresh issue and an offer for sale by company shareholders, including promoters and Oman India Joint Investment Fund II.
The offering garnered immense investor interest, oversubscribing by over 96 times overall and approximately 215 times in the QIB portion, marking one of the highest subscriptions for a main board listing in the past decade. Stanley Lifestyles saw a robust debut on the stock exchanges, with shares trading at a premium of more than 34%.
Axis Capital Ltd., ICICI Securities Limited, JM Financial Ltd, and SBI Capital Markets Limited acted as Book Running Lead Managers for the offer.
The transaction team at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas was led by Yash J. Ashar and included Vinay Sirohia, Jhalak Shah, Rajshree Agarwal, Arikta Shetty, Eesha Tirodkar, Sushant Khalkho, and Anish Meduri.
Janhavi Manohar and Neha Sahgal advised the promoter selling shareholders and individual selling shareholders on the transaction.
