AZB & Partners advised L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTSCT) and Kaynes Semicon Private Limited (Kaynes Semicon) on the recent ¥2 billion cross-border transaction, which marks a significant milestone in India-Japan semiconductor collaboration. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
It involves Fujitsu General’s power modules business being acquired by LTSCT, with production facilities being transferred to Kaynes Semicon. This strategic acquisition that will drive India’s semiconductor manufacturing ambitions forward!
